Cats we are looking after

Zak and Garfield

Zak and Garfield are 8 month old kittens who need a new home, as their owner is not able to look after them due to illness.

As you can see from the pictures, they are full of life and get on well together.

The cats Zak and Garfield are currently back with the owner. If the owner is unable to look after them in the future, then we may adopt them.

Picture of Arthur

Arthur is about a year old and was found with his sister, Terri roaming around a large council estate. When they first came to us, they were both terrified and spent most of the time hiding under the bedspread. After a while, Terri became much more confident, relaxed and affectionate and was able to be rehomed. However, Arthur despite our attempts to engage with him, remains timid with humans and much prefers the company of the other semi-feral cats who spend most of their time in the cattery garden.

Picture of Maestro

He was a feral who was trapped, and once neutered, decided that life could be much easier!

He is a little timid with our visitors, but has a following among our other cats.

Picture of Tabby

This is Tabby, no surprise there then!

He came to us 4 years ago after his owner moved into a nursing home.

He was about 12 then, and more recently has been diagnosed with diabetes.

He settled in well, but has still not learned how to use the cat flap....

Picture of Tommy

Tommy, also known as His Malevolence! What can we say!!

He first came to us in 2001, as the owners said their granddaughter was allergic to him.

He was rehomed a few months later, but came back to us within days, as his new owner was terrified of him!

He likes to attack feet and innocent visitors to the cattery!

He can be temperamental, but the best way to deal with him is to give him a lot of attention!...He has won over a lot of people who did not realise they like cats!

Interests....loves water and sitting in sinks!
